Mike is a native Californian and has been practicing law for over 13 years. He graduated from UCLA with highest honors and received his J.D. from U.C. Berkeley (Boalt Hall School of Law). Mike formerly served in the United States Marine Corps.
Prior to opening his firm, Michael worked for at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton. While at Sheppard Mullin, he represented Fortune 100 companies including Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo. He has been recognized several times as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers and Los Angeles Magazine.
In 2009, Mike founded the Jaurigue Law Group (JLG) to better serve consumers, small business owners, and disadvantaged communities. He realized that many small businesses, families, and individuals could not afford the high rates of big law firms; nevertheless, they also needed and deserved high quality and compassionate legal representation. Mike opened his law firm with this cornerstone belief: everyone deserves great lawyers who care.
JLG opened 3 years ago in Glendale, California in 2009. In March 2012, JLG expanded and added a Northern California office in San Jose, California. JLG currently has 9 attorneys between the two offices.
Mike currently splits his time between Glendale and San Jose. He adores his wife, Alex, and daughters, Quynh and Kaily. He believes in living life to the fullest, with a positive attitude, the right priorities, integrity, discipline and passion.
